Creative volunteer role supporting media, design & social media for the Foundation. Flexible hours; use Canva, photo/video skills & grow your experience.

About the Role:

We are looking for creative and enthusiastic volunteers to support the Foundation’s media and communications work. As a Media Support Volunteer, you will help showcase the impact of our programmes and share our message with a wider audience. This is a great opportunity to develop your creative skills, gain experience in digital media, and contribute to a meaningful cause.


Key Responsibilities:

Depending on your interests and experience, tasks may include:

  • Creating promotional materials using Canva and other design tools (posters, flyers, social media graphics, etc.)
  • Supporting social media management – scheduling posts, drafting captions, engaging with followers, and helping to grow our online presence
  • Capturing and editing photos or videos from Foundation events and sessions
  • Assisting in content planning and contributing creative ideas for campaigns and storytelling
  • Maintaining brand consistency across all communications


Skills & Experience:

We welcome volunteers with a range of experience levels. The following skills would be helpful (but not essential):

  • Familiarity with Canva or other design platforms
  • Interest or experience in social media (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn)
  • Basic photography or videography skills
  • Good communication, creativity, and attention to detail

Training and support will be provided as needed.


Commitment:

  • Flexible hours – you can volunteer at times that suit you
  • Remote or hybrid opportunities available
