About the Warm Hub Café:
Our Warm Hub Café provides a welcoming, friendly space where people can gather for a hot drink, a chat, and a sense of community. It’s a simple but powerful way to help tackle isolation, support wellbeing, and offer warmth—both social and physical—throughout the year. Our sessions run on a Wednesday 12-13:30pm
What You’ll Do:
- Welcome guests and help create a warm, inclusive atmosphere.
- Prepare and serve light refreshments (tea, coffee, biscuits).
- Chat with attendees and help connect people to one another.
- Set up and tidy away our tea/coffee station
- Share information about local support services or activities (information provided).
- Work as part of a friendly volunteer team to keep the sessions running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For:
- A kind, approachable, and reliable person with good people skills.
- Comfortable chatting with people from all walks of life.
- Able to work as part of a small team and follow safeguarding guidelines.
- No specific experience needed—just a willingness to help and a warm smile!
