We’re looking for enthusiastic garden volunteers to join our lovely team rejuvenating the outdoor spaces at Amersham Hospital.

Our hospital volunteer gardeners are looking for additional volunteers to join our lovely team rejuvenating the outdoor areas at Amersham hospital for staff, patients and visitors to rest and recharge in nature.

Ideally you’ll have a keen interest in gardening, biodiversity, nature, and its benefit to health and well being.  Be confident to plant, prune and weed (but we’re all learning all the time)

We have a group of weekend and weekday volunteers.

Typically weekday volunteers attend 2 volunteer sessions (3hr) a month during Feb-Nov (but of course we all have times we can’t come - holidays, appointments, other priorities, etc). Weekend volunteers attend 1 session (2hr) a month.

Join up individually, or maybe with a like-minded friend.

We also need someone to help lead our propagation efforts (seeds and cuttings) ideally with knowledge of growing in greenhouses/polytunnels.
