We’re seeking a practical, proactive IT specialist to support EYAI’s day-to-day technology needs.
This role will help keep our systems secure, reliable and easy to use, while providing technical support across the charity. A key part of the role is ensuring our volunteers and trustees are properly set up on a business Microsoft 365/Outlook system, including email accounts, shared folders, user access and device configuration.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving systems and helping a small charity work efficiently.
Main responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software and connectivity issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions and access across the charity’s systems.
- Set up and maintain Microsoft 365/Outlook business email accounts, devices and access for volunteers and trustees.
- Help maintain secure, reliable systems, including backups, updates and basic cyber security practices.
- Document processes and offer clear guidance to users with varying levels of IT confidence.
Required skills and qualifications
- Relevant qualifications and training in IT support, systems administration or a similar hands-on role, with practical experience in a comparable setting.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Outlook, Windows and user account administration.
- Ability to set up business email accounts, devices and access for new users, including volunteers and trustees.
- Understanding of IT security, data protection and backup good practice.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and organisational skills.
