We are in desperate need of men and women to help us with the parking and traffic control of a large, well known village fair.
Volunteers are needed for two job areas. The first is Parking stewards. We need people for 2.5 hour shifts on the car park. The role may involve taking payment for parking from visitors, or directing people where to park and/or how to then exit the car park safely. The second area of help needed is around collecting and dismantling of traffic cones, barriers and signs following the event. Without these there would be no fair! Parking is a vital role and needs someone with common sense, authority and who is personable. The collecting of traffic signs and cones will require organisation and muscle!

We are a volunteer team organising the Denham Village Fayre, an 800yr old Charter Fayre! A great community event for families and residents of the surrounding area. We predominantly raise money for our community church but also donate proceeds to several different local charities such as doglost.co.uk, food banks, toys for children, events for the elderly community.
