Chesham Voluntary Hospital Car Service (CVHCS) is a voluntary organisation which has been taking citizens in Chesham to hospitals and other medical locations since the 1950s. The service is accessed through the three local surgeries.
We are looking to add to our driver pool and this may be a volunteering role that is attractive to local residents. Our drivers use their own cars. They volunteer for as many or a few trips as they want.
Drivers are recompensed based on mileage but the real pleasure is meeting so many interesting people and helping them access the medical care they require.
