Volunteer Opportunity – Summer Support in our Polytunnel, Greenhouse & Farmyard.Detailed description
We are looking for a few dedicated volunteers to support us over the summer months with essential tasks around the farm. Your responsibilities will include watering the plants in our polytunnel and greenhouse, as well as refreshing the water for our animals in and around the farmyard.
This opportunity may particularly suit a retired person, a couple or two friends looking for a meaningful way to spend time during the summer school holidays.
In return, you’ll be welcome to enjoy some peaceful downtime in our orchard — a perfect way to unwind, perhaps after a busy day at work. When harvest season arrives, we’ll also be sharing a portion of our apple crop with our volunteers as a thank-you.
Full training will be provided. As we are in a rural location, access to a car is essential. We kindly ask for availability during early mornings or late afternoons, when the sun is less intense.
