Summary

Support the Tour de Vale Bike Ride as a volunteer marshal. Help cheer on and guide cyclists on routes across Aylesbury and the Buckinghamshire countryside.

Detailed description

Be part of something special at the Bucks Radio Tour de Vale Charity Bike Ride! Now in its 24th year, this much-loved community event is proudly organised by WheelPower. Starting and finishing at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, the ride takes cyclists through the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside, with routes ranging from 25km to 110km.

We couldn’t put on the event without the support of amazing people like you! We’re looking for around 100 volunteer marshals to give 2–3 hours on the day to guide riders, cheer them on, and help keep everyone safe. No experience needed, just enthusiasm and a positive attitude!

Event details:

  • Date: Sunday 7th June 2026
  • Time: 2–3 hours between 9:00am–5:00pm
  • Location: In Aylesbury and the surrounding towns and villages of Buckinghamshire. We’ll do our best to place you in a location convenient to you.
  • Packed lunch and high-vis jacket provided.

By volunteering, you’ll be helping to transform the lives of local disabled people through movement, activity, and sport, while enjoying a rewarding and feel-good day supporting hundreds of cyclists.
