Volunteers needed for Horses, Hounds & Heroes on 28 June 2026! Help at the event or with flyering in late May while supporting retired horses.

The Horse Trust is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our much-loved Horses, Hounds & Heroes charity event on Sunday 28th June 2026 in the beautiful Chiltern Hills. This family-friendly event celebrates extraordinary horses, dedicated services, and rural traditions, with attractions including mounted displays, falconry, live music, dog shows, tractor rides, horse and carriage rides, and more.

We are currently recruiting volunteers to help both at the event itself and with flyering and promotion during late May and June. Volunteer roles may include welcoming visitors, supporting activities, assisting with parking and stewarding, handing out flyers locally, and helping create a fantastic experience for attendees.

This is a brilliant opportunity to gain event experience, meet new people, and support a meaningful cause that provides lifelong care for retired and rescued horses.

Whether you can help on the day, with promotion beforehand, or both, we’d love to hear from you.
