Join our team of volunteer drivers to provide a free transport service to people living in and around Stone with Bishopstone and Hartwell
We are looking for local volunteer drivers in Stone with Bishopstone and Hartwell. Drivers will use their own cars to take residents, i.e. those without another means of transport available, to medical appointments, shopping trips, and other social activities.
Days and times will vary, depending on your availability and journeys requested.
All journeys will be organised through the Parish Council Co-ordinator.
Requirements
- You should have held a full UK driving license for at 5 years
- Your car must have road tax, a current MOT, and be road legal
- You must have a fully comprehensive car insurance
- You must carry a charged mobile phone with you whilst carrying clients
- You should have a friendly manner
- Respect the confidentiality of the client
