Summary
Our one-to-one mentoring programmes aim to inspire young people in education to make positive choices for their futures by helping them develop skills.Detailed description
We focus on the following five core areas: self-awareness; emotional literacy; relationship and communication skills; responsible decision-making; emotional resilience.
All our volunteers get to complete our high level AQA Accredited Wholistic Mentoring training to enable them to help young people in the community and to make a direct impact on their lives.
Through this training our aim is for our mentors to become able to effectively assess young people's decision making processes and help identify patterns of negative behaviour, in an effort to endorse the ethos of Spark2Life and positively impact young people’s lives. In turn these personal changes will contribute to the reduction of serious youth crime.

Spark2Life is a community-inspired black led initiative that empowers and advocates for people by giving them the tools to successfully navigate key aspects of life to reduce and prevent the risk of offending. We exist to Prevent Harm & Promote Life.
Through therapeutic mentoring we guide, challenge and/or affirm people’s values, beliefs, behaviour, and reasoning – wholistically helping them develop their capacity to independently manage life successfully.
We partner with communities and professional networks to ensure young people get fair process and reasonable regard especially where systemic injustice is evident.
