What You’ll Be Doing

Make a real difference by helping people get to appointments, activities, and community events safely and confidently. Many of the people we support use specially adapted vehicles, so you’ll need to feel comfortable driving these. More than just a driver, you’ll be a friendly and reliable face helping people stay connected and independent.

The Difference You Will Make

Your support will help reduce isolation, boost confidence, and enable people to stay connected to their community. A friendly journey and a familiar face can make all the difference.

Skills Required

  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Confident driving adapted vehicles
  • Kind, patient, and reliable
  • Comfortable supporting with sighted guidance when needed
  • Good communication skills

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS check (provided by us)
  • Two references
  • Completion of online training
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professional boundaries
