Looking for a team building day with a difference? Give your team a day to remember and help local animals at the same time!
Bring your team to RSPCA South Bucks in our Chesham charity shop for a fun, hands-on Retail Challenge Day combining teamwork, creativity, friendly competition and community impact.
RSPCA South Bucks is a separately registered local charity from the national RSPCA. We receive no government funding and rely on our local community, charity shops, donations, fundraising and adoption fees to support animals and pet owners across South Buckinghamshire. Together, our staff, volunteers and supporters helped over 500 animals and rehomed over 200 animals in 2025.
Any funds your team can add to this will be gratefully received and put to very good use!
The Retail Challenge
Teams will take on a series of fun challenges designed to test creativity, communication, problem-solving and commercial thinking.
We’re always open to your own team building ideas and we can offer a mix of challenges so everyone can play to their strengths.
Challenges could include:
- Best Window Display – create an eye-catching themed display.
- Visual Merchandising – transform an area of the shop to maximise its appeal.
- Hidden Gems – identify and research valuable or unusual donated items.
- Sales Challenge – work together to boost sales and customer engagement.
- Donation Challenge – sort, prepare and price donations ready for sale.
- Fundraising Challenge – come up with a creative way to raise money.
- Social Media Challenge – create content promoting the shop and our work.
- Workplace Donation Drive – collect unwanted quality items from colleagues before your Team Day and bring them in to sell.
Small Team, Big Impact
Our Chesham shop has limited space, so we can only accommodate small teams of up to 6 at any one time but that doesn't mean you need to leave anyone behind!
We can arrange Team Days on different dates, allowing larger businesses to bring several small teams throughout the year. Teams can even compete against each other, with a running leader board and overall winner at the end of the year!
Add Some Friendly Competition
Teams can compete for points across various categories and, at the end of the day, the highest-scoring team wins! We can also include special awards for individual categories, such as Best Window Display, Most Creative Team or Top Fundraisers.
