The Skills you will need to be successful
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable in engaging and talking to visitors
- Organisational and planning skills
- Have a ‘Build’ mentality to help us evolve and grow the reserve
- Flexible to take on a variety of tasks
💥 What does the RSPB offer you? 💥
In return for you kind and valuable donation of time the RSPB will:-
- The RSPB will reimburse you for out-of-pocket expenses, including travel.
- We will provide the equipment, training and uniform needed for you to undertake the role. We also have an online learning library, with a range of courses on conservation, health and safety, and soft skills.
- Provide every volunteer with an RSPB volunteer card entitling you to 20% off most items in our gift shops and online and free car park entry to our reserves*
Other Important Notes
This role is not a paid role so there is no renumeration for volunteer hours
You will be required to attend online training courses pertinent to the role, the completion of which will determine your acceptance
