Summary
The Training Support worker will assist RSASS in developing, organising and delivering training and support activities to the local community.
Detailed description
- You will work closely with the training team to enhance volunteer experience and build capacity for the charity’s mission.
- The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting community-based voluntary sector work and committed to the values of confidentiality, equality and trauma-informed practice.
- Assist with promotion of training events via appropriate channels and networks.
- Assist in coordinating training sessions including scheduling, resource preparation, and communication with participants.
- Support the development and updating of training materials, handouts and guidance documents.
- Help capture feedback after training events to inform improvements.
- Support onboarding activities, ensuring volunteers understand policies around confidentiality, safeguarding and trauma-informed practice.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Comfortable engaging with people from diverse backgrounds with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Reliable, proactive and able to work independently when required.
- Basic IT skills and confidence using communication tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, video conferencing).
