Enjoy driving? Our volunteer drivers use their own car (expenses paid) to transport patients from Marlow to their medical appointments in the local area.
What we are looking for:
- Competent drivers from the Marlow area with their own car and some free time available to transport patients to their hospital appointments.
- Organised individuals who can plan a route, arrive on time, and manage the fares/expenses.
- Friendly and helpful people who enjoy meeting and assisting others.
What you can expect in this role:
- Guidance and support from the Marlow Age Concern office.
- Opportunity to meet with our volunteers at periodic social events.
- Flexibility in accommodating your availability and preferences eg for driving distance.
- Mileage expenses at the standard government rate (45p/mile).
