About Marie Curie
Marie Curie is the UK’s leading end of life charity, here to support people through all aspects of dying, death and bereavement – and to fight for a society where everyone gets to have the best experience possible at the end of their life.
Marie Curie Nurses and Marie Curie Healthcare Assistants work night and day, in people’s homes and in our hospices, offering specialist care and support to people with any terminal illness, wherever they feel most comfortable. Our Support Line officers are here to help them, as well as their family and friends, through their final years, months, days and hours of life. And our Bereavement Service supports loved ones left behind.
Marie Curie’s researchers push to discover more about what makes a good end of life, and our policy experts and campaigners fight for a society where everyone gets to have the best possible quality of life while living with an illness they’re likely to die from.
