Summary
Volunteering at the Grow Together Bucks Community Allotment in High Wycombe.Detailed description
Grow Together’s 400sq.m Community Allotment is located at Back Lane Allotments in High Wycombe. We run twice weekly community growing sessions on Wednesday and Saturday mornings (weather dependent).
All are welcome to come and meet our wonderful volunteers to learn, connect with nature, grow food organically using no-dig methods and harvest vegetables to share and take home. Any excess produce is donated to the One Can Trust food bank.
The allotment also focuses on improving mental and physical health and wellbeing. An access ramp and raised bed area has recently been built for those who are physically disabled or with limited mobility.
About Grow Together Bucks
Grow Together Bucks, a ‘not for profit’ organisation, was founded in 2020 to benefit local residents in South Bucks. Our Vision is to help local communities grow fresh food together, to improve their wellbeing and connect them with each other, the environment and their natural source of food.
Whether you're an individual eager to lend a helping hand on our community allotment, a corporate organisation seeking meaningful team-building opportunities, or a school looking to engage students in hands-on learning experiences, Grow Together Bucks can help.
So… why not come and volunteer with us? Explore our volunteering opportunities to discover how you can get involved and make a difference today.
