Trustee - Ewelme Almshouse Charity

The Ewelme Almshouse Charity is looking for new Trustees. As one of the oldest almshouse charities in the country it has been providing low-cost housing to those in need for nearly 600 years. At a time when the cost of living is rising and need is increasing within the locality, the Charity is exploring how it can most effectively fulfil its purpose going forward, and it is seeking new Trustees to help it with this undertaking.

You do not have to have trustee experience – we provide full training – rather, we are keen to hear from people with a passion for the places we work in and enthusiasm to help us move forward. We have two vacancies, one with a particular focus on Finance and Accounting matters, and the other with an emphasis on Community Housing, Social Services and Citizens Advice.
