Summary
We need drivers to drive the minibus we use and/or use their own car to carry our friends to our sessions
Detailed description
To collect our friends from home and bring them to our sessions, and take them home afterwards. We use a mini bus some afternoons and training would be given for this.
We also need drivers willing to use their own cars.
An ability to be patient and understanding. Be able to communicate with our friends. And a clean driving licence. On the mini bus you would work with a volunteer escort.
Time commitment
4 hours twice a month on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday afternoonDBS is needed and we will get this for you.
We would like you to be able to communicate by e mail
We will pay mileage for using your own car.
We will also offer you Safe Guarding training
What will this offer you?
For many of our friends we are one of the only times they get out. The importance of coming along to our groups cannot be underestimated. We have a great, friendly and fun group of volunteers. If you choose to stay and contribute to our sessions, your company would be greatly appreciated.
