Trustee Fundraising

Dementia Action Marlow is a vibrant and fast‑growing local charity, founded six years ago. With around 45 dedicated volunteers, we now support over 200 people living with dementia and their carers through three weekly sessions, activities, outings, and remote support for those unable to attend in person. And yes we have a lot of fun along the way.

Dementia is increasing, and its impact on families is profound. In our area, where the population is ageing, the need for compassionate, reliable support has never been greater.

To remain sustainable and continue offering high‑quality support, we are seeking new trustees to join our friendly, proactive board.

Volunteering with us is deeply rewarding. You will directly help improve the lives of people living with dementia and the carers who give so much of themselves.

We are proud of our strong reputation and excellent relationships with other dementia organisations. To strengthen our governance and future planning, we are seeking new trustees.

Time commitment: Trustees meet quarterly, but there will be additional input required depending on your role and availability. We’d like you to attend occasionally our weekly sessions in Marlow from time to time, to gain a good understanding of our work. We aim to keep the workload manageable and flexible, and we welcome trustees who can contribute in a way that suits their schedule
