Summary
Can you use your skills, experience, and expertise to support us in our long-term strategy for sustainable growth?Detailed description
Do you find yourself ready for a new challenge?
Are you eager to use your skills to make a difference to communities across Buckinghamshire?
Do you have direct experience of our services, or of the issues faced by communities in Buckinghamshire?
Have you thought about volunteering on a Charity Board?
We could have the answer. Community Impact Bucks is seeking to recruit committed and dynamic new Trustees to join their Board.
Who are we?
At Community Impact Bucks we are passionate about helping people to get involved and make a difference in their communities. For more than 45 years have a positive impact on a multitude of people and causes across Buckinghamshire – as a key cornerstone charity we help other charities, volunteers and community groups to thrive by finding funding; inspiring people to volunteer; running projects; building strong communities; and helping strengthen leadership throughout the voluntary sector.
Our vision, mission and strategic goals are highlighted on our website, along with stories and case studies of the difference we make.
We are looking for 3-4 new Trustees to join our Board at an exciting time in our development. After a successful period over the past 2 years we are now working on our long-term strategy for sustainable growth.
The Role
Our new Trustees will bring specific expertise to complement the current skillset of the board.
We welcome applications from people of all ages and backgrounds, in particular those with direct experience of our services, or of the issues our clients face. This could include: people who have set up or run a small charity; people who have volunteered extensively in the community; people from under-represented communities such as people who experience racism, disabled people, young people, older people or their carers, people from rural communities, and people who have experienced financial insecurity.
You do not necessarily need previous board experience. You will receive a full induction and will be supported by other Board Members and the Chief Executive in your role.
This list is not exhaustive; if you are unsure whether your experience would be useful in this role, please get in touch to ask our Chair for an informal chat.
