Local environmental group is looking for a volunteer to help manage and promote our flagship rewilding project Wendover Wildbelt.
Developed over five years by volunteers working in collaboration with the Chilterns Society and Wendover Parish Council, the Wildbelt now offers a productive and biodiverse communal green space where the people and wildlife of Wendover can thrive. We are looking for a volunteer with knowledge of managing a site like this and experience of coordinating the activities of a group of willing local volunteers in tasks such as seeding, planting, cutting, scything and watering. We are also keen to encourage the participation of local schools in the project so experience of working with children and young people would also be an asset.
