Local environmental group is looking for a volunteer Events Organiser for Wendover and surrounding villages
Local environmental group Climate Action Wendover is looking for a volunteer Events Organiser. Our recent community events have included screenings of Wilding, Six Inches of Soil and The People’s Emergency Briefing. We have also arranged an open evening for our flagship rewilding project Wendover Wildbelt, plus public tree planting events and People, Planet, Pint evenings at the King & Queen pub.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about raising awareness of the climate and nature crisis and helping us to build a more sustainable, more resilient and more biodiverse future for Wendover and surrounding villages. Ideally you will have good knowledge of the local area and be familiar with publicity and promotion across a variety of social media.
