Social Media Volunteer – Cianna’s Smile

As a Social Media Volunteer with Cianna’s Smile, you’ll help us raise awareness of sickle cell by sharing powerful stories, campaigns, and updates across our social platforms. Your creativity will help inform, inspire, and connect families and supporters online.

Your work will play a key role in amplifying our voice, promoting events and campaigns, and growing an engaged, supportive online community.

This role is perfect for someone who’s:

• Creative and enjoys making engaging content
• Confident using social media platforms
• Passionate about awareness, community, and storytelling
• Looking for a flexible and meaningful volunteering role

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn
• Film and edit reels and short videos
• Design image posts and captions
• Schedule posts and support content planning
• Engage with followers and respond to messages
• Help promote events, campaigns, and key awareness dates

Ideal Qualities:

• Creative, reliable, and organised
• Confident with social media and digital tools
• Good written communication skills
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
• Passionate about making a positive impact

Time Commitment:

• 2–6 hours per week, flexible to fit your schedule
• Remote role – work from anywhere
• Support and guidance provided by the team
