Detailed description

Our mission at Chiltern Rangers is to enhance the Chilterns’ habitats through conservation, education and community engagement.

Join us in in High Wycombe as well as further afield in Buckinghamshire and the Chilterns this half term. You may be coppicing trees, planting new hedgerows, litter picking, clearing excess vegetation, creating habitat piles and lots more.

We love meeting people from all walks of life, all ages and abilities. Everyone is welcome. It’s our ambition to make sure that everyone who gives their time to us feels valued, understood and proud to be part of Chiltern Rangers.

By sharing your skills and time, you will help Chiltern Rangers benefit so many more places and people than we otherwise would be able to, and we couldn’t do it without you.

No experience is necessary, all training will be given just bring your 'can-do' attitude and we are ready to go!

Once you sign up, we will sent you all the details of our volunteer sessions that can be found on Eventbrite.

About Chiltern Rangers

Here at Chiltern Rangers, our mission is to enhance the Chilterns’ habitats through conservation, education and community engagement.

We work with local communities to provide habitat management in Buckinghamshire and the Chilterns. You will find us in the woodlands, chalk grasslands, commons, ponds and chalk streams. We also manage 13 nature reserves for Buckinghamshire Council.

Our work can only be achieved with the help of our volunteers – people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, plus community organisations, charities, social enterprises, schools & colleges. We would love you to be part of our team.
