Want to build real grant-writing experience while helping a new ADHD CIC create free and low-cost support for neurodivergent people?

Chiltern ADHD Clinic CIC is a new Community Interest Company based in Buckinghamshire. We are looking for a volunteer bid writer / fundraising support volunteer to help us research suitable grants and write funding applications.

This role would suit someone interested in fundraising, grant writing, mental health, neurodivergence, community projects, charity/CIC work, or social impact. You do not need to be an expert — we are happy to support someone who is keen to learn. Trust me when I say.. we are learning on the job right now!!

You could gain:

  • Real bid-writing and fundraising experience
  • CV, portfolio, college or university application experience
  • A reference after a period of volunteering
  • Insight into how a new CIC is developed
  • Experience supporting a meaningful local cause
  • Free access to selected workshops or community events
  • Opportunities to shadow some of our work where appropriate
  • The chance to join our body doubling sessions and work alongside us
  • Flexible remote working if preferred

The main tasks will include researching grant opportunities, reading funder guidance, drafting applications, helping describe our projects and impact, and keeping track of deadlines.

We are also open to younger volunteers, including students, where appropriate and with safeguarding in place.

This is a flexible role with the chance to be part of something new, exciting and genuinely needed in the local community 💖
