Volunteer to have fun! Join in with games, craft and other youth club activities aimed at letting young carers have a break from their responsibilities.
Bring your positivity and get involved in whatever suits you best - games, gaming, craft, art, pool, air hockey, table tennis and/or helping prepare snacks and soft drinks.
By volunteering at our popular Youth Club in Chesham, you will help young carers enjoy themselves and make the most of their precious time out from their caring responsibilities.
Shifts are regular Tuesdays, during term times, 4 - 7pm.
Youth Club Volunteers help out before, during and after the session (3 hours in total) to ensure the 'Club Night' is lots of fun, but also safe and well managed.
You don't need any previous experience, qualifications or training, however you must enjoy being amongst children and be able to take noise and high energy in your stride, though - don't worry - there are quiet spaces too! You would be assisting our team of skilled Support Workers who work with young people aged 5 - 16.
We warmly welcome applications from busy people and different demographics who are interested in volunteering but don't necessarily have time to give to a weekly commitment. Across the year, the minimum requirement is as little as 6 x three-hour shifts (4 - 7pm).
