Volunteers will be trained in rescue, welfare and first aid skills which can then be used within the community in times of civil emergency.Detailed description
Volunteers will be trained in rescue, welfare and first aid skills which can then be used within the community in times of civil emergency.
We are specifically looking for volunteers who would like to:
- Assist communities prepare for, during, and after severe weather
- Work with local authorities during civil or natural emergencies to assist in evacuations and rest centres
- Support the NHS during times of severe pressure within the health system, undertaking administration and support roles

We are a registered charity (no. 1194929), and our purpose is to provide back-up personnel to the emergency services and local authorities in a range of situations.
