Love walking? Want to help others enjoy the outdoors?
Join BucksVision as a Walking Guide or Group Leader and help blind and partially sighted people enjoy the benefits of fresh air, exercise and good company.
Whether you're guiding someone safely along the route, describing the scenery or simply sharing a conversation, you'll play an important role in making every walk welcoming, enjoyable and inclusive.
Our walking groups currently meet in Milton Keynes, with both short and long walks available, and in Aylesbury, with a new High Wycombe group launching soon.
We're looking for friendly, reliable volunteers who enjoy walking, meeting new people and being part of a team. No previous experience is needed – we'll provide all the training and support you need. All you need is a positive attitude, good communication skills and a willingness to help others enjoy getting outdoors.
Volunteering is a great way to stay active, make new friends and make a real difference in your local community. If you'd like to share your love of walking while supporting people with sight loss, we'd love to hear from you.
