Volunteer Photographer/Videographer

Purpose of the role

We’re looking for a creative volunteer to help capture the special moments at our social clubs and events. Your photos and videos will showcase our members and volunteers in action and help us share the story of BucksVision through our website, newsletters, and promotional materials.

What you’ll be doing

·        Visiting social clubs and events in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes to take candid photos and short video clips.

·        Capturing images that reflect the fun, friendship, and community spirit of BucksVision.

·        Working with staff to make sure members are comfortable and happy being photographed/filmed (consent will be arranged in advance).

·        Sharing the final photos and videos with our team to use in publicity materials.

What we’re looking for

·        Someone with an interest in photography or videography (professional experience not required, enthusiasm is what counts).

·        Friendly, approachable, and able to put people at ease.

·        Respectful and sensitive when working with people who are visually impaired.

·        Able to travel to different venues in your local area.

Time commitment

Flexible. Most social clubs take place on weekdays, with occasional weekend events. You can choose which ones you’re available for — even just a few sessions a year would make a big difference.

Location

Social clubs and events across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes.

Support and training

You’ll be supported by our Volunteer Manager and club leaders. We’ll make sure you’re fully briefed before each event and that all permissions are in place.
