Events and Fundraising Volunteer

Do you love bringing people together? Got a knack for organising or just enjoy being part of a great team?

Join us as an Events & Fundraising Volunteer and help create fun activities that raise vital funds and awareness for BucksVision. From tea parties and quizzes to raffles and store collections — your ideas and energy can help make every event a success.

When & where?

Flexible — in your local area, at times that suit you.

What you will be doing:

·      Helping to organise and run community fundraising events

·      Being a friendly face for BucksVision at activities and collections

·      Building relationships and raising awareness of sight loss in your community

·      Attending occasional fundraising meetings to share ideas and plan future events

What skills and experience are needed?

·      Friendly, reliable, and a good communicator

·      Organised and able to work as part of a team

·      Enthusiastic and willing to get stuck in

·      No previous fundraising experience required — just a positive attitude!

What will you gain from the role?

·      The chance to give back and support people with sight loss

·      A sense of achievement and pride in making a difference

·      New experiences and skills in events and fundraising

·      Confidence, community connections, and lots of fun along the way

What support will be given?

·      Induction and training (including sight loss awareness and sighted guiding)

·      Ongoing training and development opportunities

·      Out-of-pocket expenses covered

·      Support from your Fundraising Manager, Volunteer Manager, and other volunteers
