Support Volunteer Team Lead

Working closely with the Charity Officer, you will identify where support is most needed, shape opportunities for people to get involved and match volunteers’ skills and interests with meaningful activities.

You will help create a welcoming experience from the first enquiry onwards, coordinating recruitment, onboarding and training so that volunteers understand their role and feel equipped to contribute. As the group develops, you will coordinate its activities, maintain regular communication and help volunteers see how their contribution supports BSAR’s wider priorities.

The team’s initial focus will include:

• Fundraising and grants: supporting fundraising initiatives, developing funding opportunities and helping prepare grant applications.
• Community engagement and events: raising awareness of BSAR, building local connections and encouraging public support.
• Communications and storytelling: supporting social media, photography and videography to showcase the charity’s work and impact.
