We are looking for an individual to help write grant applications to seek funding from local organisations to help fund the wonderful work of the Amersham Hospital Gardens Project ...rejuvenating outdoor space and courtyard gardens at Amersham Hospital for the benefit of patients and staff. This volunteer team is passionate and welcoming.
You will work closely with the Lead Volunteer Gardener at Amersham as well as the Head of Charity for Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Charitable Trust.
You will look to find organisations who may be interested to fund the outdoor space projects as well as write the bids for funding and submit to the grant organisation.
Over time - this role may develop to suppport other wellness and outdoor space projects across the other hospital sites that are also funded by the Hospital Charity - depending on your time availability.
You are likely have had experience in writing grant applications or similar before and are a self starter. If successful, you will need to complete some paperwork for the Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust in order to become a volunteer.
