Summary

We are looking for individuals who can assist with the delivery of or children's fortnightly Lego Club in the library .

Detailed description

Buckinghamshire libraries run a variety of activities for children, and at Wendover Community Library, we are looking for a volunteer to host our fortnightly Lego Club. Our Lego Club is a chance for children to use their imaginations. With a theme and some help they can create anything their imagination thinks of.


As part of the role you will be required to:


  • To help set up Lego Club within the library.
  • To assist with the delivery of these activities.
  • To clear away resources at the end of the session.
  • To signpost queries to the appropriate staff member or service.
  • To be a positive and enthusiastic ambassador for the library service.
  • To take part in an induction process.
  • To be aware of Buckinghamshire Council’s aims, organisational values and behaviours and their impact on this role.
  • To carry out the duties of this role in accordance with the Council’s policies in respect of diversity and community cohesion.
  • To carry out all tasks and responsibilities with reasonable care for the health and safety of others and to co-operate fully with the Council in Health and Safety matters.
