Buckingham Library would like to offer the local community a monthly craft club to offer connection and combat loneliness.
Buckingham Library are looking for a volunteer/s to deliver a monthly craft afternoon with a focus on building local connections and combat loneliness in adults. With a new craft project each month we hope to offer a safe space in the community to create and connect. We would ideally run each session for approx. 2 hours with time for a set craft activity such as painting spring plant pots, decorating candles or making flower bookmarks, the possibilities are endless! We would be looking for a volunteer happy to set each activity up in our meeting room and lead the participants, and work with the library team to plan a calendar of activities.
Materials and refreshment's will be provided. If you feel this is something you could support and would like to make some crafty connections in the local community please get in touch!
