We are looking for individuals who can assist with the delivery of a variety of events in the library for children, including craft activities.
Buckinghamshire libraries run a variety of activities for children, anything from craft and board games to music and story telling.
We are exploring offering a craft activity for primary-aged children on a Saturday morning (likely to be every other week) and on a weekday during the school holidays.
As part of the role you will be required to:
- To plan, set up and clear away activities for children within the library.
- To signpost queries to the appropriate staff member or service.
- To be a positive and enthusiastic ambassador for the library service.
- To be aware of Buckinghamshire Council’s aims, organisational values and behaviours and their impact on this role.
- To carry out the duties of this role in accordance with the Council’s policies in respect of diversity and community cohesion.
- To carry out all tasks and responsibilities with reasonable care for the health and safety of others and to co-operate fully with the Council in Health and Safety matters.
