Summary
We are looking for individuals who can assist with the delivery of a variety of events in the library for children, including craft activities.Detailed description
Buckinghamshire libraries run a variety of activities for children, anything from craft and board games to music and story telling.
As part of the role you will be required to:
- To plan and run a variety of activities to engage children in the library.
- To help set up activities for children within the library.
- To assist with the delivery of these activities.
- To clear away resources at the end of the session.
- To signpost queries to the appropriate staff member or service.
- To be a positive and enthusiastic ambassador for the library service.
- To take part in an induction process.
- To be aware of Buckinghamshire Council’s aims, organisational values and behaviours and their impact on this role.
- To carry out the duties of this role in accordance with the Council’s policies in respect of diversity and community cohesion.
- To carry out all tasks and responsibilities with reasonable care for the health and safety of others and to co-operate fully with the Council in Health and Safety matters.
