We are seeking assistance in running 1-1 workshops for CV and job application support.
Detailed description
Buckinghamshire libraries regularly run events for adults. We provide a variety of activities from board games to craft and occasional or regular hold coffee mornings. Wendover Community Library is seeking an individual who can support individuals on a 1-1 basis with writing their CV and apply for jobs. Ideally we would be looking to hold these sessions once a month on a regular basis.
We are looking for someone who:
- Feels comfortable supporting customers with queries relating to their CV
- Has good communications skills, and is comfortable engaging with people.
- Is confident using computers and digital programs such as word.
- An interest and awareness of library services would be beneficial.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative.
