Summary
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Administrator to manage day-to-day guest communications for our accommodation in the Welsh hills near to Brecon, Powys.
Detailed description
This role is ideal for someone who is organised, confident in communicating with the public, and comfortable working independently.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Communication
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries via email and telephone
- Answer questions about accommodation, availability, pricing, facilities, and local area
- Provide clear information about access, location, and arrival arrangements
- Handle follow-up questions before and after bookings
Administration
- Manage and organise incoming messages and enquiries
- Keep basic records of enquiries and responses
- Liaise with the owner/manager regarding bookings or special requests
- Ensure information provided to guests is accurate and up to date
Customer Service
- Deliver a friendly, helpful, and professional service at all times
- Represent the accommodation positively to potential guests
- Handle enquiries calmly and efficiently, even during busy periods

About Brecon Forest Farmhouse
We are an educational charitable trust run by volunteers who combine their wide variety of expertise in education, business and industry to manage the Farmhouse. We provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn about the outdoors in a residential setting. The farmhouse is used by a range of organisations as a base for their outdoor activities. There is dormitory accommodation, recently refurbished washrooms and self-catering facilities for clubs, schools, HE, youth groups and families to use.
