Are you 16-21 and want to shape nature volunteering in your area?
Join BBOWT's Youth Volunteering Panel to help shape the future of volunteering across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. This volunteer role gives young people a voice in decision-making and the chance to influence how the Trust engages and supports volunteers to protect and restore nature.
Panel members meet at various locations across Berks, Bucks and Oxon; there is no single set base. The panel will meet at least once every three months, with dates and venues agreed by members.
There will be a recruitment day, part of which will involve an informal chat. This will take place on Saturday 28th November in Oxford. (Please note, if you are unable to make the Recruitment Day, we would still welcome your application anyway. We are aware that the date may not be suitable for everyone and we will arrange a separate call/chat with those unable to make this date).
If you are under 18, CC a parent or guardian on your application or ask them to submit it on your behalf.
The deadline for applications is 11:59pm on Sunday 22nd November.

About Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust (BBOWT)
BBOWT is the only voluntary organisation in the region concerned with all aspects of nature conservation. We give wildlife a helping hand to ensure it thrives in our three counties. As well as managing our nature reserves, this includes monitoring species and running special projects to support declining species such as water voles, or threatened habitats such as chalk grassland. We also advise other landowners about how to care for habitats and species.
