To ensure the safety of our visitors and local residents we have the use of free car parking and need stewards to direct people to available spaces.
Our car park stewards are important to the integrity of our event and the safety of our event visitors, members of the public passing through and other volunteers. Stewards work in pairs for no more than 2 hours at a time in one of three car parks once the main Parade and through route has been closed. We employ a professional traffic management company to oversee the road closures and any issues with that route.

The volunteer committee are now affiliated with the Bourne End Community Centre registered charity, so we can work together with them and other affiliated groups that use the centre and are based in the village. We need volunteers before and during the evening to ensure the safe and smooth running of this annual event.
