We are looking for enthusiastic Civilian Instructors to join us and teach cadets a variety of subjects. Full training offered, and opportunities for progression

Our Civilian Instructors teach everything from First Aid to Leadership to Aviation theory, and much more, subject to experience and enthusiasm. Fancy gaining other qualifications such as becoming a Mountain Leader, Drone Pilot or Shooting Instructor? Opportunities are available to train you in specific areas such as Adventure Training, Fieldcraft and Aerospace in time. You may even wish to progress into uniform and become a RAFAC Officer or NCO, wearing the uniform of the RAF after being provided with full training.

All of our volunteers must be DBS checked and BPSS checked, as we work with young people and have access to military establishments. Some roles will require more in depth Security clearances.

The role is for one or two nights a week, dependent on availability, for 2.5 hours each evening. Other opportunities on weekends etc are available for other activities, but these are personal choice.
