Volunteering at Bourne End Community Market is working with others from the community occasionally or regularly, morning or afternoon.
The market needs help to set up and break down the market, monitoring the overflow car park, and helping stall holders with gazebos.
We have volunteers who come monthly or occasionally as suits their schedules. It is friendly and fun as you meet lots of new and old friends.
If someone would love to be the overseer of the set up it would simply need organisational skills on the morning, 8-10, then later 1.30-3.30.
As well we would love help putting up lamp post signs the Sunday before the market and removing
the Sunday after. These signs ensure the public are reminded of when the market is, ensuring a good footfall for the 60-90 stall holders.
